Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi was first opened at the turn of the 20th century by two private French investors. Standing the test of time, the hotel has been recognized as Hanoi’s legendary landmark for its contribution to the history and heritage of city.

On 1st July 2009, the Hotel Metropole Hanoi became the world’s first Sofitel Legend hotel, opening up a unique collection of stately heritage hotels and palaces found in iconic cities around the world. Each landmark property in the collection is historic, some dating back centuries, and all with an enchanting backstory.

Le Club Bar

Overlooking beautiful hotel garden courtyard, this airy venue offers Hanoi’s legendary cocktail lounge experience. In addition to the scrumptious menu, Le Club Bar features a delectable chocolate indulgence and afternoon tea. Jazz performances take place everyday except on Mondays (from 8 to 11.45pm).

Having just undergone renovation in 2016 to increase its seating capacity to 120 and to introduce a new live-cooking station, Le Club at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi is a sparkling destination. With a design that calls to mind aristocratic smoking rooms with a hint of 1920s speakeasy, there is history here underneath the brand new coat of paint.

 

La Terrasse Bar

At La Terrasse, inspired by world famous Parisian al fresco brasseries, visitors are seated in the heart of Hanoi’s bustling urban life. Observing passers-by, reading the paper, sipping a glass of Perrier, time slips by imperceptibly.

 

Bamboo Bar

With 2 thematic spa suites for couples, 6 individually designed spa suites, one manicure and pedicure booth, a humid zone with steam bath, Le Spa du Metropole offers the ultimate blend of health and relaxation in the privacy of an intimate setting. SoFIT

The SoFIT by Sofitel gym in the hotel’s inner garden is directly accessible from the pool and has been completely redesigned to become a prominent luxury fitness centre in Hanoi.

The SoFIT area has been completely revamped and is exclusively reserved for hotel guests. Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi specially ordered Life Fitness bikes and Lifestride advanced cardiovascular equipment in addition to elliptical bikes and step machines. Machines are equipped with LCD televisions allowing guests to exercise while watching the news or favourite tv programs. Personal training services & free weights are available.
